§ 31.03. CLERK AND TREASURER ESTABLISHED; DELEGATION OF DUTIES.

(A) Pursuant to M.S. § 412.591(2), the offices of City Clerk and City Treasurer are established.
(B) Pursuant to M.S. § 412.151(2), the bookkeeping duties of the City Clerk are delegated to the City Treasurer. The City Treasurer, at the expense of the city, shall furnish a fidelity bond conditioned for the faithful exercise of his or her duties.
(C) Annually, the Council shall provide for an audit of the city’s financial affairs in accordance with the minimum procedures prescribed by the state auditor.
